As a graduate of the school of business, concentrating in marketing at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Michael has worked hard to blend business and graphics. His company, designs INK. has developed a strong nitch in the opthalmology medical community as a multi-disciplined graphic designer, specializing in web site design. Using advanced digital imaging, design illustrations & graphics combined with special coarsework in typography at University Columbia, Chicago, Michael consistantly produces quality designs. Through the operations of his company, he has become skilled in managing all phases of the creative process, from concept through delivery.

Michael spent several months in early 2009, modifying a scaled model of the original Seadragon. The wooden model was not exactly accurate in shape so some details needed to be removed and new ones needed to be designed and added. The ship's cannons and portholes needed to be removed from the model and the holes sealed up with wood. After the physical modifications were finished, he painted the model with the collage of Chinese characters, artwork and the Seadragon, recreating a scaled replica of Richard Halliburton's vessel.
